It's not an issue of where your from It's any issue of breaking the law

12 million, 14 million what's the difference.  The fact is we have a lot of people who don't think that laws apply to them.  It just so happens that most if not all of these people are hispanic.  I hear people who are of hispanic decent complaining that we are picking on them.  That's not the case at all the fact is amoung that large number of illegals are hardened criminals, robbers, rapists and on and on.

Why does Mexico and the Mexican people think they should get special treatment just because their country happens to be right next door.  This all goes back to the fact that we have had a system in place to allow people wishing to live to gain a path to citizenship.  Just because you happen to get into the country, find a job and maybe have a few kids doesn't lesson the crime.  You took that risk by jumping over the border.

It maybe time to look at updating the Constitution

For the most part the fathers of our country got everything just about right.  The only problem is that life was a lot different back then than it is now.  Life was a lot less complicated, you didn't have powerful lobbyist and special interest groups trying to run the country.  You didn't have millions of illegal immigrants fighting to stay here even though they broke the laws.

You are starting to hear talk in congress about looking at the 14th ammendment.  The main reason for this assessment would be the problem with anchor babies stemmed by the amount of illegal immigrants.  I totally agree with the need to re-look at this issue.  Our forefathers would be appaulled by what is currently going on in this country.  They above all others understand the principle of immigration and why we need to go thru proper channels in order to ensure security of our shores.  Look at the number of crimes related directly to the infiltration of our southern borders.  I hope the pressure keeps building on congress to do the right thing.

Are we headed for civil unrest?

In the 1800's Abraham Lincoln took a stand that moved the country into a state of civil war.  At that time the main issue was slavery.  Slavery was an issue that was both unjust and inhumane and needed to be delt with.  Immigration is something that was working fine until our neighbors from the south began to take matters into their own hands and disregard the laws of our country.  Now you have 12 to 14 million illegals who want our government to simply let everything go by the wayside and let them continue to live here in this country.

One small problem is that over 64% of Amercian citizens disagree with the idea of giving amnesty to illegals that to their illegal offspring who were born here.  Somehow I don't think the government approach is what is needed and there may come a time when the silent majority starts to take matters into their own hands.  It is not out of the question that we as a country maybe headed into some type of civil war.  Personnally I get tired of having to push 1 for english, anybody who lives here should be able to communicate in the english language, it's not my job to learn your language you came here to live.

Second this idea of simply giving in to the pressures of groups of unruly protestors is nuts.  If they want to walk up and down the streets of this country and wave the Mexican flag then they shouldn't be here this isn't Mexico, and if you live that flag so much why don't you move back to where it flys over the governemts that runs the place.  I have been looking a starting to buy firearms to protect my family and I'm sure the sales of fire arms are starting to ramp up if they haven't already.

Maybe it's time to say "Remember the Alamo"

The silent majority in this country are getting fed up.  If these antaganists don't stop trying to force us to accept these law breakers it is possible we could be looking at civil unrest.  The civil war was fought for a much different reason and one that still holds true today, but the idea of law breakers having the nerve to eat up our tax money and resources so they can stay here and scam the system is totally insane.

In the coming days and weeks you will start to see a ground swell of average Americans who are fed up rebeling in a way that won't be pretty.  So if your here illegally it maybe time to pack up your burro and head on back to Mexico City or wherever you came from.

Protests by illegal is absurb

First of all stop waving that ridiculous MEXICAN flag around, if you like Mexico so much why don't you go back.  This question of proper ID's is a very good idea.  Just like in Indiana now we have to show ID before purchasing any achohic beverage, so what's the big hub bub?  If your here legally then there isn't any problem, if your here illegally then you need to be sent packing and don't come back.

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

How stupid do these illegals think we are anyway?

Rape, buglary, assault, robbery are all crimes just like being an illegal immigrant.  How stupid do these Mexicans think we are?  They jump the borders steal our jobs, kill our citizens and now they want amnesty?

If I were working along the border I would raise my M16 and open fire, maybe then they might get the hint that this isn't a game.  This is a sovern country and they need to be taught a lesson.

Feds step in on Arizona law Illegals fearful

With one day left until the Arizona immigration law goes into effect the Federal made a ruling putting a partial hold on portions of the law.  News reports state illegals in Arizona are getting fearful as well they should.  If I steal a car I sure would be watching my back.  They need to catch them all and send them back to Mexico where they belong.

The funny thing is if the illegals were of a different race and culture, say Vietnamese the Hispanics wouldn't give a hoot about the whole immigration issue.  Kinky Freidman had the best idea on Msnbc when he stated that the best idea would be to issue a federal ID card which would make it a federal crime to hire any illegal who doesn't provide a Federal ID.  The fact is these people are running from the law and sooner or later they will catch up with them.

Friday, July 9, 2010

Finding illegals shouldn't be that hard

If I were running the program for regulating immigration, it seems that some of the basic issues should be very easy.

1.  First fine any employer who knowingly hires persons without proper ID's and paperwork

2.. Run social security numbers to see if numerous persons carry the same number.

3.  If someone comes to apply for a job and needs and intrepter, that should be a red flag.

4.  Having a national information bank that employers could access when hiring anyone, to check for criminal activities or legal status.

5.. Utilities companies would be required to do background checks on anyone applying for new service.

These are pretty basic things that might help reduce the illegal traffic thru are borders.

Illegal Immigration Costs U.S. $113 Billion a Year, Study Finds

www.foxnews.com

The cost of harboring illegal immigrants in the United States is a staggering $113 billion a year -- an average of $1,117 for every “native-headed” household in America -- according to a study conducted by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

The study, a copy of which was provided to FoxNews.com, “is the first and most detailed look at the costs of illegal immigration ever done,” says Bob Dane, director of communications at FAIR, a conservative organization that seeks to end almost all immigration to the U.S.

The most important finding of the study is the enormous cost to state and local governments due to lack of enforcement of our immigration laws,” Martin wrote.

[The report found that the federal government paid $28.6 billion in illegal related costs, and state and local governments paid $84.2 billion on an estimated 13 million undocumented residents. In his speech, Obama estimated that there are 11 million.]

OK, And Obamas Administration is Suing Arizona because,

What, we are tired of paying the bills?

I sure hope those links work, especially the one that shows you state by state.

if the US reduced 10% of our war efforts that would solve the immigrant crisis, save some lives and make the US more neighborly.

The worst part about this is that WE ARE PAYING FOR THEM.

Instead of using the money we give them on reforms, the government is paying immigrates $10,000 a pop to start their new life here once they become a citizen. They're ILLEGAL ALIENS! Basically, we're giving $10,000 to anyone who decides to commit a crime!

We could be using this money for something useful; what we pay taxes for. Look at the Gulf! We NEED this to be fixed, people could start DIEING from the toxic fumes, yet the government believes its more important to make sure people who come here illegally get their ten.

GEESH!

Their not immigrants, their illegals and it's not an Issue it's an Invasion.

War has always been expensive. In human life and money.

Cuting back 10% is not going to do anything, the politticians would just spend that money on a turtle or fish or weed or some bug that needs to be saved.

Has anyone looked at those two links above in the thread? Do you know or better yet, do you care what you are paying in your State for the Illegals?

Are you factoring your numbers off a yearly basis or the fact that we've been "at war" for nearly 10 years. Not only that but keep in mind not all that money is "waste" as compared to illegal immigration. 1 trillion divided by 10 is about 100billion.

Illegal immigration kills more US citizens a year than the war last I checked.

All I am saying is we are wasting money to occupy foreign countries for their resources when it could be better spent dealing with problems at home.

Lady Liberty still means something to me. Illegal immigration is a problem because wealthy Americans will pay immigrants under the table to stay wealthy instead of following the damn laws of this nation.

You tell the citizens to stop supporting the immigrants and there will no incentive for them to come here. This is not a problem that the government is causing, it is our American brothers and sisters causing this issue.

I bet it's way more than that...of course there are always issues of methodology with this kind of study...but are they factoring in the costs of the extra heroin addiction and death that the porous border gifts us with?

One reason they are so frequently saying "Mexicans do the jobs Americans don't want to take" is that many of the younger working-class Americans who would take those lousy jobs have already died of heroin overdoses ...I would like to see one of these exciting statistical studies addressing that aspect...

From the source:

Groups that support immigration reform immediately attacked FAIR's report and pointed out that it is the polar opposite of the Perryman Report, a 2008 study that found illegal immigration was actually a boon to the American economy. It estimated that illegal immigrants add $245 billion in Gross Domestic Product to the economy and account for 2.8 million jobs.

Makes sense to me. You've gotta live. That means food, rent, utilities, etc.

Legal citizens to parents and families that are primarily illegal. They dont pay taxes therefore they are leeching off the american system and the harm is being done by illegal immigrants.

Put fair tax into play and lets see how much revenue is brought in from these "legal illegals".

There is no Constitutional authorization for the "War on Drugs".

The entire idea is laughable at best, criminal at worst.

Legalization is an economically, and more importantly, constitutionally sound idea.

Government suing Arizona over Immigration law How stupid

Maybe some of these uninformed legislators should go down to Arizona and live along our borders for a while, then maybe the reality would really start to sink in.  You would start to become very cautious about what you did and when you went out in your backyard.  You have American citizens dying because of all the illegal traffic crossing the border areas.

If they want to do something useful, how about sending our ambassadors down to Mexico city and tell President Calderon to get his shit together.  Instead of just setting back and letting the American side do all the work, how about invoking Marshal law and bring the Mexican army up to the border on their side to help keep the riff-raff from coming into our country.

You can't tell me a country the size of Mexico, that everyone there is corrupt and evil.  Get the citizens to get some courage and help kick these drug cartels back to hell where they belong.  Mexico has been around for a lot longer than we have, you can't tell me that they are completely incapabel of governing themselves, I think it's pure lazyness.

New Americans get sworn in on the 4th of July

If any of you illegals do understand english, then maybe you should pay attention to the 100's of people who did the right thing and applied for the right to become an American citizen.  Their journey ended when they were sworn in yesterday.

Sure it wasn't easy but they took the time to go to classes, learn our language and our customs.  Instead of just jumping the border and demanding rights they joined the millions who came before them with hopes and dreams of a better life.  They don't have to look over their shoulder and see if law enforcement was keeping any eye on them or waiting to see if you were going to be deported.

I certainly hope that when they do take up the issue of immigration reform they don't forget about all the people who did the right thing and went thru the system that made this country great.

Unemployment rates are expected to go up

Today Friday the new unemployment numbers will show that jobs are still being lost.  So with so many of us unemployed why are illegal immigrants still here?  I personnally been out of work since March of this year.  I have sent out literally 100's of resumes.  But yet we have all of these illegals taking bread from our mouths and most of them don't even pay taxes or social security.

When you have 24 people all holding the same social security number you have problems.  We need to fine employers heavily so when they do hire these lawbreakers, it hurts them where it counts in the wallet.  This whole thing of having to put of with people who come here and don't pay any attention to our laws or take the time to learn the language just drives me crazy.  And based on the polling numbers I'm not the only one.

Why amnesty won't work

There is talk that one of the solutions to the illegal immigration problem is to have those people already here pay a fine and learn english.  Oh Boy!  So if I steal a car I would get to keep the car, but I would have to take driving lessons and promise not to speed.

That is a ridiculous solution.  By giving them amnesty that opens the door for any low life to come in here and basically do whatever they want.  I would call that a big slap in the face for all of our ancestors who did the right thing and came in thru proper channels.  Letting these lawbreakers stay so lazyness on the part of our government and a total lack of respect for our citizens.

Time is wasting and people are dying

The lastest news regarding the southern borders is some of the radical Islamic groups are looking at the ease that illegals have crossing over into our country.  Can you imagine if along with the drug cartel now you add suicide bombers to the list.  Pretty soon every American will have to strap on a sidearm just like in the old west.  Our safety and our security are at stake here.

I say you build a wall to wall fence and then electrify it.  Create a dead zone in between two fences and let trained guard dogs rome the area.  It would be sort of like a mote at a castle in mid-evil times.  Our econmoy isn't really getting any better and all we need is for more illegals to come in here and steal more jobs from citizens

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Nebraska has the right idea

One town in Nebraska has the right idea.  Fine those employers who hire undocumented workers.  Verify that they are who they say they are.  It shouldn't be very hard, since most of them don't even take the time to learn our language.  I've seen customers who still carry Mexican drivers licenses.  This whole issue makes my blood boil.

I believe you will see more and more communities taking action to get rid of this problem.  It costs us all lots of money to have these law-breakers roming around everywhere.  The only real way to stop them is the choke off the supply of jobs by holding a hard line on proper indentification.  After all there are over 10% of the legals citizens unemployed who could use some of those jobs to help feed their families.  Let the president of Mexico find a way to feed it's own people.

Federal government working on law suit against Arizona

I've never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life.  Of course your going to end up with racial profiliing since 12 to 14 million illegals all came from the same country  MEXICO!!.  What do they expect the people from Arizona to do set by while their property is destroyed and watch their neighbers being murdered and raped!

I thing the federal government should be worrying about more important things like putting 10% of it's legal citizens back to work, fixing the oil spill in the gulf and keeping our troops safe overseas.  The hell with the illegal immigrants.  Ship them all back to where they came from.  They have no right to be here.  There are lots of people from other countries patiently waiting in line to go thru proper channels to become American citizens.  Someone should tell these people to wake up the smell the coffee.

Monday, June 21, 2010

If we don't fix the immigration problem then what's next?

Look at what has happened in our country.  We have people up in arm because they can't simply walk into our country and do whatever they want.  You have people of the same sex going against God's word and asking for the right to marry.  What other special interest group will stick it's ugly head up and want some unusal laws or rights that fit their petciular needs.

Our country was founded on all the right principles and ideas and now it seems like no one wants to stick to what brought us to this point in time.

Local governments catching on to the solution

Fining employers for hiring people without proper identification.  This will cut off the flow of money back to Mexico and the myth that anyone can come in here and find work and skirt the law.  This will stop the  problem of 45 people all holding the same social security number.

You can say what you want but we have to have laws and ways of regulating who comes and go into our country.  If the people who wrote the constitiution came back today they would have wondered why they even bothered to write it.  Everybody wnats to do thing their way.  This is a good way to start another civil war.

It's not the country it's the principle

This blog is not a knock on the hispanic people in general.  If it were Canadians it would be the same problem.  In a world where it seems everyone is out to kill you, it's prudent to know who is coming and going across our sovern borders.  I know lots of hard working hispanics that are American citizens.  But the fact is you can't put up with million of undocumented people wandering around the country.  Maybe Alkaida will figure this out and start recruiting illegals from Mexico.

We need strict laws that hold to the principle that made us a great country.

Friday, June 11, 2010

How about Mexico sharing the cost?

The United states costs to contain border security keep rising.  How about our neighbor to the south bearing some of the burden, after all it's not American sneeking into Mexico, But Mexicans sneeking into our country.  If I were the Mexican government maybe to me that would be a sign that there not doing too good a job if everybody wants to leave the country.

The violence will only intensify as time goes on Americans are getting fed up with all the nonsense.  Illegals taking our jobs, destroying our property and generally disregarding all our laws and regulations

Thursday, June 10, 2010

Hispanic boy shot and killed

As unfortunate as it is, the fact remains that the illegals are crossing the border of another country illegally.  The border patrol have live weapons.  They are besieged by thousands of attempts to cross.  The drug cartels are hell bent upon delivering their product to our country.

My suggesstion is the way to keep this from happening again is to abide by the laws and incidents like this will not happen again.

Sunday, June 6, 2010

Bullets make good neighbors

You've heard the old line that "fences make good neighbors".   In this case it would be changed to bullets make good neighbors.  Nothing done so far seems to slow down the flow of illegals over our borders.   I say we just start shooting them as they come over.  Maybe then someone would get the idea that we are serious about protecting our borders.

The president of Mexico doesn't seem too concerned about his people crossing the borders illegally.  All he had to say was how unfair the law in Arizona was.  He needs to get a dose of reality.

The scales of justice are starting to tip

As time goes on more and more people are finding the new law in Arizona maybe the answer.  The polls show a majority of Americans are in favor of similar laws in their states.  I just can't understand how all those people who crossed our borders illegally have the nerve to think it's ok to be here, and think it's ok to protest our laws.  Hey there's the door.

Monday, May 31, 2010

The backlash from the American citizens may bring new problems

It's bad enough that 14 millions people have crossed our borders and are protesting.  But the law in Arizona maybe just the first step in response.  State and local governments are getting sick of dealing with all the problems that have arisen from the hoards of illegals planting roots in their cities and towns.

It's my feeling that other states will follow suit in some manner to pass legislation in order to protect all American citizens against this group of law breakers.  It's funny we don't have this issue with people from any other country.  You don't see Canadians flooding accross the borders.  The Canadians have created a country with industry and laws that respect it's citizens.  Unlike Mexico which provides nothing possitive for it's citizens.  So again I say send them all back, change you own country before you come up here and screw ours up

Hispanics protest law in Arizona

The hispanic community is protesting the new law in Arizona.  Claiming the law promoted racial profiling.  Well Duh!!  You sat and watched as 14 million illegals crossed our borders illegally.  It's not like the group was broken up into different ethnicities and cultures.  They were all Mexicans.  So you can complain all you want but take a good look at the facts first.

All the crime coming from Mexico, robberies, bugleries, rapes, drugs and the list goes on and on.  People who live along the borders in our countries fear for their lives everyday.  And where is the border patrols on the other side of the border?  If Mexico is so upset about our laws try enforcing your own first, that is if you have any.  Most government officials are on the payrolls of the drug cartells.

I hope every state in the union adopted a law similar to that of Arizona.  Then maybe this country won't be such a welcome place for all those law-breakers.  If you want to become a citizen here, go thru the legal channels just like every other ethnic group.  Then maybe you will start getting some respect.  Until that day all we see as American citizens is a group of people who pay no attention to our immigration laws, so if that is true what other laws are they willing to break.  Breaking any law set a precident for anything that comes afterwards.

It's not a hispanic issue It's an issue of law

The whole immigration thing boils down to having laws and enforcing them.  It's takes two to argue.  It seems to me that Mexico sets idolly by while millions of it's citizens go ahead and break thee laws of another country.  You can't just set back as the Mexican governemt does and cry fowl about the new law in Arizona, when you make no effort to stop the flow accross the border.  All the money and manpower is provided by US governemts trying to protect life and limb.

Before the Mexican governemt starts complaining about us they better clean up their own house first.  Put Mexican troops along the border on their side of the fence, not only to stem the flow of illegals but to help stop trafficing of illegal drugs.  The problem there is the drug cartels pay off many officials so they basically become ineffective.

Illegals using American born children as a shield

Knowing that they had already broke the laws of our country, many illegals have had children while in our country.  Now they want to use that as an excuse to stay here.  This is totally ridiculous.  Many are worried now about the backlash of state and federal governments.  The other problem is we probably paid for the care of their infant children since they didn't have any health insurance.  The problem snowballs out of control.  The costs incurred by all levels of government are too high to calculate.

Other states are now contemplating laws similar to that of Arizona, and with good reason.  It's job loss, crime and other systemic problems arising from not having control of who is in our country and what their intentions are.

Some argue that removing all illegals from our country would be a economic disaster.  I say with many of them using forged or illegal form of ID and working for less money than their legal counter-parts that arguement doesn't hold any water.  We must either started enforcing the laws that all of our ancestors arrived here by or just open the flood gates and watch this country disappear.

If the hispanics think it's so bad up here go live in Iran

Thieves shouldn't be picky.  You come accross the border eat our food get free medical care and now you want free citizenship.  I saw we send you all to Iran and let the fine leader of their country deal with you.

You couldn't run your own country properly so you sneak accross the border and start demanding things.  Hey prettly all the immate in state and federal prison will start demanding we build gambling casinos and whore houses on prison ground.

We have bigger problems than worrying about whether you feelings get hurt or not.  We have terrorists driving jeeps into the heart of New York city loaded with explosive devices.  So again if you think life is so bad here, see ya later.

Tide turning toward enforcing the laws

As per two surveys on from Nbc and another from Cbs.  The verdict is in.  Both polls show an overwhelming number of Americans want something done about the illegal immigration issue.

More states are considering laws similar to that of Arizona.  At some point we have to stop the madness, you can't have 14 millions illegals in a country and track who they are.  Who knows Mexico could have emptied their jails and prison system and sent them north for us to deal with.  When there is no regulation, there is no law.  It's funny all the newscasters of Hispanic decent are all for some form of amnesty.  If those 14 million illegals were all from Russia or China, would we still have the same backlash?  My guess is we wouldn't.  But when Mexico benefits from the illegals being here by seeing monies sent back home to friends and family members in Mexico, why should they complain?

Press conference being held between Pres. Obama and Pres Calderon

During his comments President Obama said he found the law in Arizona "troubling".  Well I find the fact the 14 million illegals have been allowed to enter our borders "troubling".

I guess the government officials are just going to dance around this subject and nothing will get done.  The current poll on CBS new shows that 74% of those polled would favor a similar law to Arizona's in their own state.  I totally agree.  It's time to get down to business and take care of this problem.  If we don't Al quida will start recriuting illegals to join them and kill more Americans.

It's no wonder they want to come here

If you've seen any photos of Mexico, you would probably want to come here too.  The problem is that was their country.  Mexico has been around a lot longer than the US, so it seems they have had plenty of time to build up industries (other than drugs).  And now since they could take care of their own country, now they come north to put the US in the same precarious position.

We don't want you here.  You come in and take jobs from unemployed Americans, you can't speak the language, nor do you have legal documents to conduct business.

And the survey says?

A new survey shows that nearly 64% of Americans polled agree with the new law in Arizona.  However the major of Los Angeles has determined that it would be better to boycott Arizona as a place to do business with.  My question was where was he when 12 million people from his home country of Mexico were pouring over the border?

My guess is if these illegals were all from Ireland, you wouldn't hear a word from anyone in the Hispanic community.  But since uncle Juan was one of the illegals who made it over, I guess they must feel it is important to protect members of their own heritage.

After watching border wars on the National Geographic channel, I say you just start shooting these idiots.  The drug cartells from Mexico are providing safe houses and transportation to get over the border.  As stated in the program, many dangerous criminals are amoung those crossing the borders.  If you just start shooting those who break the law maybe the rest of these knuckleheads will get the hint.

Students sent home for wearing shirts with American flag

Here is a case of sure stupidity.  High school students were sent home on Cinco Demayo day, because school adminstrators were affraid it would start fights between students.  The school had a high number of hispanic students.

If they keep this kind of stuff up this country will become as screwed up as Mexico.  This goes back to my point that mexican came north to escape the poor living conditions in Mexico.  And now they seem to be hell-bent of screwing up our country.

Fix your own problems before coming here

Mexico has existed a long time before the formation of the United States of America.  It seems to me if the hispanic people lover their culture that much maybe they should fix their own country before coming to ours.

Why are all the illegal immigrants coming accross the border?  Because they can't find work and for most the lifestyle is much worse than here in the states.  WHO'S FAULT IS THAT?  Seems to me that they as a country have had plenty of time to establish theyselves as a world-class country.  Instead of being known for one of the worst countries in the world for drug trafficing.  Now they want to come up here and dictate how they should be treated and demand laws and regulations that fit their needs.  I say if you proud of your heritage then go home and fix your own mess before coming here and expecting us to do it for you!

Instead of protesting.

Instead of wasting everyone's time and energy by protesting a law, why don't they worry about all the illegals who are here, eating up costs from all kinds of government agencies from border patrols, to free health care and free government programs meant for citizens of our country who are legal citizens that need the help.

I guess no one wants to work for anything any more, as long as you get here, however you get here means your good to go.  This blog is not aimed at legal immigrants, because all of us or our ancestors were ancestors at one time or another.  The people who should be screaming the loudest are the American indians, who basically was hood-winked by early settlers who stole their land and their dreams.  These people are the only true Americans.  The same can be said for the people who actually live in Mexico.  The mexican people as a whole were here a long time before most other ethnic groups started migranting across the sea.
That still doesn't give them the right to just wonder across the border.  We as Americans retain our sovern rights to maintain and protect our borders.

Sheriff's deputy shot in Arizona by drug dealers

Here's a prime example why we need very strict laws.  The illegals are flooding over the borders, but not just those looking for a better way of life, but those looking to expand the world of illegal drugs like herion and cocaine.

Hey!  For all those people protesting, maybe we should just do what you want and do away with any type of laws and regulations regarding immigration.  We'll have Taco Bell as our offiicial national restaurant,  we'll all start speaking spanish and we'll let the drug cartels be our official industry.  That seems to be ok with all the protestors.  Maybe because uncle Juan is already here illegally and no one wants to see him leave.

Funny thing before all this started happening, immigrants coming to our country went through orentation classes and not only learned our language, but basic skills needed to conduct day to day activities.
Now everyone wants us to just skip that part since 12 to 14 million people have decided that they don't need to follow any rules or regulations.  So along with honest people coming accross, we have murderers, rapists, drug dealers and god know who else.

If you don't like it here go back to Mexico

Well let me see now.  It's may day and there are tons of marches and demonstrations going on around the country.  All based upon the new law passed in Arizona.  Hey why worry about it.  You were'nt too concerned about breaking the law to get here and now you want everybody to forgive and forget.

What if those 12 to 14 millions illegals were members of the taliban?  We would be in big trouble.  Part of the reason for immigration law is to know exactly who is applying for citizenship and what their backgrounds are.

I know for a fact the a lot of the illegals in our area were working at the rv manufacturing plants in Goshen and Elkhart, Indiana.  They were living with multiple families in one house and sending the illegal earnings back to relatives in Mexico.

As I said earlier if everyone would have followed proper proceedures from the get-go.  We wouldn't be having this conversation.  I point out the fact that is I steal a car and drive it around for ten years and then the police come to my door and say you are driving a stolen car shouldn't I get to keep the car since I had it for ten years.  This is the ridiculus argument that all the illegals in this country should be allowed to stay since their already here.  I saw make them all leave and go to the back of the line in the immigration system.

Who deserves the blame?

The first question to be asked is why was 12 to 14 illegal immigrants allowed to enter our borkers uncontested.  There are several reason why this is a serious matter.  We are at war with people hell-bent on killing us.  Not to mention the fall out of letting millions of undocumented people wonder around our country.  The undue burden put on all forms of government agencies.

That being said you must also look at the Mexican government for turning a blind eye on the whole situation while their citizens flood the borders of the United states.  Now with Arizona up to their neck in law breakers, they pass a law to help protect themselves.  The Hispanic base is filing law suits and protesting all over our country.

Why  weren't the legal immigrants so vocal when all the illegals were flooding in.  Now that it has come to a head their screaming foul.  I am not endorsing racial profiling, but when people are getting murdered, property is being destroyed and over-all kaos.   I guess I'm a believer in doing things right the first time.  If all the illegals would have entered our country legally, then the bad apples could have been separated and everyone would have lived happily ever after.

They brought it upon themselves.

When you break the law bad things happen.  The problem is so many people broke the law, drastic action had to be taken.  I guess I don't know how bad it is because I don't live there.  But I can tell you if I did live in Arizona and people started commiting crimes and destroying property.  I would have a couple of loaded 12 guages ready to use at a moments notice.  You can't let people from your country come into this country and disregard virtually every law imaginable.  Don't get me wrong the large majority of Hispanics are good law biding citizens, and they shouldn't be punished.  But you have the drug cartels crossing the border killing people, gang wars, break-in, murder.  This is not what this country is all about.  Since most of the people who cross the border don't speak our language, it behoves the Hispanic to help police their own and make sure that they either go back home or face the music.

The problems

Even though 12 millions or so illegals have already planted roots here in this country, you just can't send them back.  They have created families taken jobs and become part of their communities.  That being said if you break the law there has to be some type of retribution.  I'm sure this is where legislators run into the biggest problems.  I don't have an easy answer for this problem, but when you have 24 people all using the same social securty number, you have problems.

Immigration The hot button topic

Well this problem seems to finally be coming to a head.  Why are people so passionate about this issue?  The answers are clear and not so clear.  We will examine some of these issues and get your opinions on them.  One thing is for sure, with the newly passed legislation in Arizona things won't be getting any calmer any time soon.

Our country is based on a nation of immigrants, all of us came from somewhere other than this place.  At some point our ancestors decided to help make a better life for themselves and their families, so they bundled up all their belongings and head for a brave new world.

This part of the story is where everything gets a little murky.  There are approximately 12 million illegal immigrants here in the US give of take a few thousand.  They like everyone who passed before them hoped for a better life for both themselves and their families.  The problem is they circumvented the process by sneaking over the Mexican border however they could to achieve their goals.  This is not a story about discrimination but rather a story of disregard for the laws and regulations that govern our country.

Our forefathers were pretty smart guys and what was declared back then still holds true today.  Our laws provide for any immigrant to come to our country and not only learn our language but learn our customs so that they can go out into society and become a productive member of our culture.  They are taught language, monetary system, basic laws and everthing else you need to conduct yourself in day to day living.

Illegal immigration skips that part and simply puts a burden on our citizens, government agencies and tax collecting system.

One solution that would work

Heavy fines for employers hiring any illegal would turn off the spikett, thereby making it nearly impossible for them to gain employment.

The Goshen effect

I live in northern Indiana. Approximately 25 miles southeast of us is the City of Goshen, In. Goshen is close to Elkhart, In which is the RV capital of the world. During the boom times thousands of illegals made their way to northern Indiana to work for any one of 100 manufacturers. The problems was most of them could not speak english, the crime rate in Goshen went from non-existant to dealing with gangs and various other crimes. The cost to the city and taxpayers was enormous. The hospitals were inindated with high number of uninsured patients. You get the picture.
