Tide turning toward enforcing the laws

As per two surveys on from Nbc and another from Cbs.  The verdict is in.  Both polls show an overwhelming number of Americans want something done about the illegal immigration issue.

More states are considering laws similar to that of Arizona.  At some point we have to stop the madness, you can't have 14 millions illegals in a country and track who they are.  Who knows Mexico could have emptied their jails and prison system and sent them north for us to deal with.  When there is no regulation, there is no law.  It's funny all the newscasters of Hispanic decent are all for some form of amnesty.  If those 14 million illegals were all from Russia or China, would we still have the same backlash?  My guess is we wouldn't.  But when Mexico benefits from the illegals being here by seeing monies sent back home to friends and family members in Mexico, why should they complain?

One solution that would work

Heavy fines for employers hiring any illegal would turn off the spikett, thereby making it nearly impossible for them to gain employment.

The Goshen effect

I live in northern Indiana. Approximately 25 miles southeast of us is the City of Goshen, In. Goshen is close to Elkhart, In which is the RV capital of the world. During the boom times thousands of illegals made their way to northern Indiana to work for any one of 100 manufacturers. The problems was most of them could not speak english, the crime rate in Goshen went from non-existant to dealing with gangs and various other crimes. The cost to the city and taxpayers was enormous. The hospitals were inindated with high number of uninsured patients. You get the picture.
